After completing a law degree and training as an accordionist, Rémy Brès-Feuillet pursued vocal studies in classical singing with Magali Damonte in Marseille, followed by Mareike Schellenberger in Aix-en-Provence. His stage debut took place with the artistic team of the Théâtre des Calanques in Marseille (Serge Noyelle & Marion Coutris), where he took part in several contemporary productions including Les Mariés de l’Apocalypse, Entremets Entremots, La Porte d’Ensor, and Barokko.
A member of Génération Opéra and Opéra Fuoco, Rémy Brès-Feuillet was awarded the Young Artist Award at the 2021 Cesti Competition (Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik). Since then, he has been regularly invited to perform on major stages in France and abroad, including the Leipzig Opera, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Opéra national de Paris, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Bayreuth Baroque Festival, and the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music. He collaborates with distinguished conductors such as Francesco Corti, Ottavio Dantone, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Harry Bicket, Rinaldo Alessandrini, and Jean-Marc Aymes, and with renowned stage directors including Laurent Pelly, Damiano Michieletto, Chiara Muti, Serge Noyelle, Frédéric Fisbach, and Max Emanuel Cenčić.
Recently, he has portrayed Nireno in Giulio Cesare at the Opéra national de Paris, Tolomeo in the same opera at the Rome Opera, Leipzig Opera, and in Bolzano in a production by Chiara Muti under the baton of Ottavio Dantone, as well as the title role in Handel’s Flavio at the Bayreuth Baroque Festival. He is also regularly invited by ensembles such as Il Pomo d’Oro, Ensemble Matheus, Le Banquet Céleste, and La Palatine.
