The Farinelli Countertenor Gala takes place on 2 March 2026 at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. The concert will be led by Luca Quintavalle, conducting the Karlsruher Barockorchester.
This special gala evening brings together an outstanding quartet of countertenors: Bruno de Sá, Rémy Brès-Feuillet, Dennis Orellana, and Lidor Ram Mesika.
Celebrating the brilliance and virtuosity of the countertenor voice, the gala promises a dazzling programme inspired by the legendary Farinelli, performed by four of today’s most exciting artists in the field.

Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Daniel Behle, tenor, has been singing the role of Stolzing since 7 February 2026 in the new production of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Stuttgart State Opera. Directed by Elisabeth Stöppler and conducted by Cornelius Meister, this marks Daniel Behle’s role debut as Stolzing. Performances of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg featuring Daniel Behle as Stolzing are scheduled in Stuttgart till 22 March 2026.
Since 16 January 2026, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Sonja Runje (alto) has been shining in the title role of Griselda at the Oper Wuppertal. Until 8 March, Vivaldi’s opera Griselda runs under the musical direction of Yorgos Ziavras and in a staging by Mathilda du Tillieul McNicol, featuring Sonja Runje in Wuppertal.Read More
