Yuriy Mynenko takes centre stage once more in a new production of Bononcini’s Cefalo e Procride at the Schloßfestspiele, Potsdam Sanssouci from 24 June, presented by the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin.
Under the musical direction of Bernhard Forck and with production design by Michiel Dijkema, this is a rare opportunity to hear one of the great voices of the Baroque countertenor repertoire in a work seldom performed today.
