Parnassus Arts Productions is delighted to announce that tomorrow, Tuesday, 25 November 2025, at 7:00 p.m., our in-house production of Poro, re dell’Indie, an opera by George Frideric Handel, will be presented in concert at the sold-out MusikTheater an der Wien.
For this production of Poro, we once again collaborate with the wonderful ensemble Oh! Orkiestra, under the direction of Martyna Pastuszka. The excellent cast is led by the one and only Max Emanuel Cencic in the title role and the coloratura phenomenon Julia Lezhneva as Cleofide.
The young and dynamic ensemble of singers also includes Lucile Richardot as Erissena, Rémy Brès-Feuillet as Gandarte, Hugo Hymas as Alessandro, and Timothy Edlin as Timagene — all of whom we are greatly looking forward to hearing.
Poro was already successfully presented in June 2025 at the Halle Handel Festival and at the Klangvokal Music Festival Dortmund. The Dortmund performances were recorded, and the Dortmund stream will be available shortly.
