Flavio at the Latvian National Opera in Riga

The Bayreuth Baroque new production Flavio, Re de’ Langobardi by G.F. Handel from 2023, directed by Max Emanuel Cencic, has been taken over by the Latvijas Nacionālā Opera un Balets in Riga. The premiere will take place on May 21, 2025, in Riga, with further performances on May 23, June 1, and December 17, 19, and 21, 2025. As in Bayreuth, the role of Flavio will be performed by Rémy Brès-Feuillet (who will return to Bayreuth for his solo concert on September 6, 2025). New at Parnassus: Anna Tetruashvili

We are very excited to announce our collaboration with Israeli mezzo-soprano Anna Tetruashvili, and are pleased to take over her artist management.

On May 4, 2025, Anna Tetruashvili won first prize for female voices at the Tereza Berganza Competition, part of Cascais Opera. Parnassus Arts Productions warmly congratulates her on this achievement.
Anna is a rising lyric mezzo-soprano and currently a member of the Opera Studio of the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich. She made her debut at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival in May 2024 in the role of Annio in La Clemenza di Tito, conducted by Gianluca Capuano and staged by Robert Carsen. Performing alongside Cecilia Bartoli, Daniel Behle, Mélissa Petit, and Ildebrando D’Arcangelo, she was named one of the “5 outstanding emerging artists” of the prestigious festival by The New York Times in August 2024:
“…Tetruashvili […] transitioned convincingly from one emotion to the next, with a consistently beautiful tone that was at times surprisingly powerful…” She reprised the role of Annio at the Salzburg Festival in summer 2024.Read More

Tomáš Král in Matthäus-Passion and Hail Bright Cecilia

On April 18, 2025, Tomáš Král will perform as a soloist in Bach’s Matthäus-Passion at the Festival de Pâques in Aix-en-Provence, along Les Ambassadeurs ~ La Grande Ecurie conducted by Thibault Noally.

On April 20, he will take the stage in Krakow’s Misteria Paschalia Festival for Hail Bright Cecilia, performing with Le Poème Harmonique under the direction of Vincent Dumestre.
