Daniel Behle as Siegmund (Die Walküre) in Valencia

On April 4, 2025, Parnassus exclusive artist Daniel Behle will make his debut as Siegmund (Die Walküre) at the Palau de la Música in Valencia. Daniel’s long-awaited role debut as Siegmund will take place in a concert performance conducted by Alexander Liebreich with the ORQUESTRA de Valencia.

Starting in May 2025, Daniel will continue to develop his well-established Mozart-Wagner repertoire mix.

He will perform Mozart repertoire in May and July 2025 as Ferrando (Così fan tutte) at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, and in August 2025 as Soliman (Zanaida) at the Salzburg Festival.Read More

Sorin COLIBAN as Father Augustin in The Betrothal in a Monastery at the MusikTheater an der Wien

Our Parnassus Arts Productions artist, Sorin COLIBAN (bass), has been performing the roles of the Shadow and Father Augustin in Sergei Prokofiev’s rarely performed opera The Betrothal in a Monastery since its premiere on March 26, 2025, marking his second collaboration with the Musiktheater an der Wien. The performances, directed by Damiano Michieletto and conducted by Dmitry Matvienko, will take place for Sorin Coliban on March 31 (today), April 2, 5, 7, and 9, 2025.Read More

Dennis Orellana won the first Farinelli Competition in Karlsruhe

On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions’ exclusive artist, Dennis Orellana (male soprano), won the first edition of the Farinelli Competition for countertenors, newly founded by opera director Christoph von Bernuth.

As part of the 47th International Handel Festival in Karlsruhe, the world’s first singing competition for countertenors was held at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe: For the 1st Farinelli Competition for countertenors, in honor of the most famous singer of this category, nearly 50 singers applied, of whom 23 presented themselves before a prestigious five-member jury in the first internal preliminary round. Maayan Licht was awarded the best newcomer of 2025 at the Oper! Awards

On Friday, February 21, 2025, the annual Oper! Awards took place in Brussels, where Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist, Maayan Licht (sopranist), was named Best Young Singer of 2025. The jury chairman, Manuel Brug, stated in his speech at the Theatre La Monnaie that the award was granted due to Maayan’s sensational performance at the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival as Achilles in the new production of Iphigenia in Aulis (directed by Max Emanuel Cencic; musical direction by Christophe Rousset). Benjamin Bayl Conducts at the Staatstheater Stuttgart

Since February 22, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist, Benjamin Bayl, has been conducting the revival of La Fest at the Staatstheater Stuttgart. Since February 7, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Daniel Behle has been performing the title role of Idomeneo at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam. In the production by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and under the musical direction of Laurence Cummings, Daniel Behle will sing the role of Idomeneo in a total of seven performances in Amsterdam until February 23, 2025.
