On October 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM, join Philipp Mathmann & Maria Ladurner under Gerd Amelung at the James-Simon-Galerie Berlin for the concert Nonne wider Willen, a poetic and dramatic programme exploring the voices of women in the 17th century.
With a historical text read by Constanze Becker (Berliner Ensemble), the performance features music by Barbara Strozzi, Maria Margarita Cozzolani, Claudio Monteverdi, Francesco Cavalli, and Giovanni Rovetta.
Sung by Philipp Mathmann and Maria Ladurner, performed by the lautten compagney BERLIN, and conducted by Gerd Amelung.
