From Max Emanuel Cencic returning to his signature role of Tolomeo in Giulio Cesare in Zürich, to world premieres, major house debuts and international tours, March 2026 highlights the remarkable versatility and presence of our artists. Max Emanuel Cencic Returns to Zurich as Tolomeo
Max Emanuel Cencic returns to his signature role of Tolomeo in a new production of Handel’s Giulio Cesare at the Oper Zürich.
The staged production runs for seven performances from 11 to 28 March 2026, under the musical direction of Gianluca Capuano and staged by Davide Livermore.
Daniel Behle: Stolzing and Major Concert Appearances
Daniel Behle continues as Walther von Stolzing in Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Staatsoper Stuttgart through 22 March 2026 (production by Elisabeth Stöppler).
In addition, Daniel appears in concerts on 7 March in Zentrum Paul Klee Bern, on 20 March with the NDR Radiophilharmonie in Hannover, and on 29 and 30 March at the Semperoper Dresden.
Yuriy Mynenko Tours Europe as Medoro
Yuriy Mynenko appears as Medoro in Handel’s Orlando on a prestigious European concert tour.Performances include 19 March 2026 at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (Paris), 22 March at the Palau de les Arts Valencia, and 24 March at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
Nicholas Tamagna’s Double Spotlight in March
Nicholas Tamagna sings Befana in L’Opera Seria on 2, 4, 7, 9 and 11 March 2026, under the musical direction of Christophe Rousset, in a production staged by Laurent Pelly.
On 19 March, he appears as Berghahn + Cake (Itch) at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, under Giuseppe Barile (musical direction), staged and lit by Kevin Barz.
Farinelli Countertenor Gala in Karlsruhe
The Farinelli Countertenor Gala takes place on 2 March 2026 at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, under the musical direction of Luca Quintavalle with the Karlsruher Barockorchester.
The gala features Bruno de Sá, Rémy Brès-Feuillet, Dennis Orellana, and Lidor Ram Mesika.
Franko Klisovic Debuts at the Wiener Musikverein
Franko Klisovic makes his debut at the Wiener Musikverein on 29 March 2026, performing in Handel’s Messiah.
Franko appears alongside the Wiener Gesangverein, the Symphonieorchester der Wiener Volksoper, conducted by Daniel Csefalvay.
Ray Chenez Makes His Komische Oper Debut
Ray Chenez makes his house debut at the Komische Oper Berlin as Daniel in a new production of Handel’s Belshazzar on 28 March 2026.
The performance is conducted by George Petrou, with staging, set and costumes by Herbert Fritsch.
Johanna Rosa Falkinger as Kreusa in a new production of Medea at the Kammeroper Wien
Johanna Rosa Falkinger appears as Kreusa in a new production of Medea at the Kammeroper Wien, premiering on 17 March 2026.
The production is conducted by Benjamin Bayl and directed by Corinna von Rad.
Busy Month for Suzanne Jerosme – Dialogues des Carmélites and a concert series with Accademia Bizantina
Suzanne Jerosme appears as Blanche de la Force in Dialogues des Carmélites at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, with performances on 11 and 14 March, under the musical direction of Johannes Willig and staged by Andrea Schwalbach.
In addition, Suzanne performs in concert with Christophe Rousset and Accademia Bizantina on:

Wolfgang Bankl in his signature role of Astradamors (Le Grand Macabre) at the Wiener Staatsoper
Wolfgang Bankl performs his signature role of Astradamors in Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre at the Wiener Staatsoper, with performances beginning 15 March 2026.
The production is conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado and staged by Jan Lauwers.
Maayan Licht in World Premiere at Dutch National Opera
Maayan Licht appears as Ra in the world premiere of Requiem for Mariza at the Dutch National Opera Amsterdam.
The production premieres on 13 March 2026, with further performances on 15 and 21 March, under the musical direction of Sora Elisabeth Lee and staged by Silvia Costa.
On 20 March 2026, Maayan also presents the solo concert Solar Express with Camerata Geneva.
Bruno de Sá at Opernhaus Zürich
Bruno de Sá sings Aci in Handel’s Aci, Galatea e Polifemo on 20 and 29 March 2026 at the Opernhaus Zürich, with Orchestra La Scintilla under Philippe Jaroussky.
Tomáš Král: Adelaide Festival & Bach Passion
Tomáš Král appears at the Adelaide Festival in Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine (2–3 March) and in Rossi’s Orfeo (4 & 6 March), singing Endimione and Caronte with Ensemble Pygmalion under Raphaël Pichon.
On 26 and 27 March, Tomáš performs Bach’s Matthäus-Passion at Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam and at Église Saint Roch in Paris with the Orchestra of the 18th Century and Cappella Amsterdam.
Sophie Junker Sings Télaïre in Geneva
Sophie Junker appears as Télaïre in Rameau’s Castor et Pollux from 19–29 March 2026 at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, Geneva, conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón.
Christopher Lowrey’s Bach Tour Across the Netherlands
Christopher Lowrey appears in a Vivaldi concert on 7 March 2026 with Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien under François Lazarevitch.
From 20 March to 4 April, Christopher performs Bach’s Matthäus-Passion with the Nederlandse Bachvereniging, conducted by Masaaki Suzuki, in Amsterdam, Groningen, Rotterdam, Naarden, and Eindhoven.
