Handel’s Flavio on Tour

After its acclaimed premiere at Bayreuth Baroque 2023, Handel’s Flavio returns to the stage for an international tour.

The production stars Max Emanuel Cencic as Guido and Rémy Bres-Feuillet in the title role of Flavio, joined by Concerto Köln under the direction of Benjamin Bayl for the concert performances.

Upcoming dates include:

  • October 28, 2025, at the Kölner Philharmonie in Cologne,
  • November 8, 2025, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam,
  • December 17, 19, and 21, 2025, at the Latvian National Opera in Riga.

In Riga, the production will be conducted by Andris Veismanis and directed by Max Emanuel Cencic, with set design by Helmut Stürmer, costumes by Corina Gramosteanu, and lighting by Roman de Lagarde.
