Daniel Behle as a magnificent Stolzing (role debut) at the Stuttgart State Opera

Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Daniel Behle, tenor, has been singing the role of Stolzing since 7 February 2026 in the new production of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Stuttgart State Opera. Directed by Elisabeth Stöppler and conducted by Cornelius Meister, this marks Daniel Behle’s role debut as Stolzing. Performances of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg featuring Daniel Behle as Stolzing are scheduled in Stuttgart till 22 March 2026.

In March 2026, Daniel Behle will appear as a soloist in Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the Staatskapelle Dresden under the direction of Daniele Gatti. At the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, he will perform Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erdewith the Orchestre National de France conducted by Juraj Valčuha. Daniel Behle will present his Baroque program Kings of Bravura in May 2026 in Bayreuth, Munich, and Steyr. In June 2026, he will appear as Tempo in Handel’s Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno at the Potsdam Sanssouci Palace Festival.

The 2026/27 season will bring two major new roles for Daniel Behle, one by Richard Strauss and one by Richard Wagner. He will appear, among other venues, at the Bavarian State Opera, the Vienna State Opera, and La Scala in Milan. Daniel Behle’s unique musical blend of song, passions, Wagner, Strauss and Mozart roles, concerts, and concert repertoire continues successfully.
