Dennis Orellana as Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare) at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein

Since 30 November 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Dennis Orellana (male soprano) has been singing the role of Cleopatra in a new production of Giulio Cesare at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the Theater Duisburg. Until 18 January 2026, Dennis will appear as Cleopatra under the musical direction of Attilio Cremonesi and in a staging by Michaela Dicu.

Dennis Orellana will mark another role debut from 28 February to 8 March 2026 as Meleagro in Handel’s Atalanta at the International Handel Festival Karlsruhe at the Badisches Staatstheater. His first staged production at the Musiktheater an der Wien will take place from 10–21 April 2026, where he will appear as Poro in Vinci’s Alessandro nell’Indie. As Tigrane (Radamisto), Dennis will return to the Handel Festival in Halle in June 2026; as Bellezza (Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno), the young rising star will perform at the Potsdam Sanssouci Palace Festival; and in a song matinee, Dennis will present a solo recital on 7 December 2025 at the Theater Duisburg.

He completed his first staged production at the Salzburg Festival in summer 2025 as Irina in the new production of Eötvös’s opera Three Sisters. At the 2026 Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival, Dennis will take part in the gala The Sopranos.
