Parnassus Arts Productions has taken over the management of the wonderful German baritone Martin Häßler.
In recent years, Martin has sung at the Vienna State Opera in roles such as Donner (Das Rheingold), Dr. Falke (Die Fledermaus), Schaunard (La Bohème), Ping (Turandot), Fritz Kothner (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg), Masetto, Brétigny, and many more. His operatic repertoire further includes roles such as Don Giovanni, Leporello, Mr. Flint, Marcello, Wagner (Faust), the Herald (Lohengrin), Papageno, Count Almaviva, Guglielmo, Gunther, Sharpless, among others.
Martin Häßler also has a wide concert repertoire, including Jesus (St. Matthew Passion), Jephtha, Winterreise, The Seasons, Elijah, Messiah, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Mozart’s Requiem, Judas Maccabaeus, The Creation, St. John Passion, Solomon, St. Paul, and the Christmas Oratorio, among others.
In the coming season, Martin Häßler will perform concert programs such as Winterreise, St. Paul, the Christmas Oratorio, St. John Passion, St. Matthew Passion, among others. He will also appear in roles such as Sharpless (Madama Butterfly) and Liebenau (Der Waffenschmied), collaborating with ensembles and institutions such as Oper Leipzig, Festspielschloss Nymphenburg, Thomaskirche Leipzig, Theater Erfurt, St. Michaelis Church Hamburg, the St. Barthelemy Music Festival, Konzerthaus Berlin, and many more.
