Since Saturday, July 26, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Yuriy Mynenko has been singing the role of Tolomeo in a new production of Giulio Cesare, directed by Dmitri Tcherniakov, at the Salzburg Festival. Under the musical direction of Emmanuelle Haïm, the Giulio Cesare performances with our Yuriy Mynenko will continue until August 17, 2025, at the Haus für Mozart.
From October 3, 2025, Yuriy will appear in his signature role of Cesare (Giulio Cesare) at Oper Frankfurt (house debut). Under the direction of Laurence Cummings and in the staging of Nadja Loschky, Yuriy will sing the title role in Julius Caesar until November 13, 2025, in Frankfurt. As Vitige, Yuriy will appear on October 28 in Handel’s satirical opera Flavio at the Kölner Philharmonie and on November 8, 2025, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Benjamin Bayl conducts Concerto Köln. From November 20 to December 31, 2025, Yuriy will appear in the pasticcio La Fest at the Staatsoper Stuttgart. In February 2026, Yuriy returns to the role of Tolomeo in the concert tour Giulio Cesare, which will visit, among others, the Musiktheater an der Wien, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées Paris, Teatro Real Madrid, and more.
Yuriy Mynenko still maintains roles from the Russian repertoire such as Lel (Snegurotchka), Niezhata (Sadko by Rimsky-Korsakov), Ratmir (Ruslan and Lyudmila), also the Angel (The Demon by Rubinstein), Sesto & Annio (La Clemenza di Tito), and Romeo (Giulietta e Romeo by Zingarelli).
