We are very excited to announce our collaboration with Israeli mezzo-soprano Anna Tetruashvili, and are pleased to take over her artist management.
On May 4, 2025, Anna Tetruashvili won first prize for female voices at the Tereza Berganza Competition, part of Cascais Opera. Parnassus Arts Productions warmly congratulates her on this achievement.
Anna is a rising lyric mezzo-soprano and currently a member of the Opera Studio of the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich. She made her debut at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival in May 2024 in the role of Annio in La Clemenza di Tito, conducted by Gianluca Capuano and staged by Robert Carsen. Performing alongside Cecilia Bartoli, Daniel Behle, Mélissa Petit, and Ildebrando D’Arcangelo, she was named one of the “5 outstanding emerging artists” of the prestigious festival by The New York Times in August 2024:
“…Tetruashvili […] transitioned convincingly from one emotion to the next, with a consistently beautiful tone that was at times surprisingly powerful…” She reprised the role of Annio at the Salzburg Festival in summer 2024.

Anna’s early career included important roles such as Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Second Lady in The Magic Flute, and Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore while she was part of the opera studio at the Tbilisi State Conservatory.
She continued her artistic development in Vienna, singing roles such as Eduige in Handel’s Rodelinda and Idamante in Mozart’s Idomeneo at the Schönbrunn Palace Theater. As a member of the Gärtnerplatztheater Opera Studio, she has already performed roles including Tisbe in La Cenerentola, Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel, and Mercédès in a new production of Carmen.
In the 2024/25 season, she will expand her presence at the Gärtnerplatztheater with role debuts as Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Véronique in Le docteur Miracle. That same season, she will also make her debut at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, once again as Annio in La Clemenza di Tito, in a staging by Jetske Mijnssen and again alongside Cecilia Bartoli, under the baton of Gianluca Capuano.
Tetruashvili refined her craft at the Tbilisi State Conservatory under Prof. Natalia Volchenko, before continuing her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW). There, she trained with respected professors such as Margit Klaushofer, Christoph U. Meier, Michael Sturminger, and Roland Schwab, gaining stage experience and honing her artistic presence. In June 2024, she graduated with distinction in her master’s degree in stage performance.
In addition to her stage work, Tetruashvili has received numerous awards in international competitions, including the Bärenreiter Special Prize at the 2023 International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, and top prizes at the Premio Scarlatti in Vilnius and the Antonín Dvořák Singing Competition. Her talent has also been recognized in masterclasses with renowned artists such as Silvana Bazzoni Bartoli at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival and KS Brigitte Fassbaender at the Gärtnerplatztheater.
This week, Anna Tetruashvili will perform the role of Idamante (Idomeneo) at the Warsaw Chamber Opera.
