Dennis Orellana debuts as Hunahpu at the Salzburg Festival 2023

On 31 July and 2 August 2023, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist, Dennis Orellana (male soprano), will sing the role of Hunahpu in the concert performances of Henry Purcell's The Indian Queen. Under the musical direction of Teodor Currentzis, Dennis makes his Salzburg Festival debut performing with colleagues such as Jeanine De Bique, Julian Pregardian and Amira Casar.
Recently, Dennis Orellana impressed as Berardo in Porpora's opera Carlo il Calvo, at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan on 14 June and at the Konzerthaus Dortmund on 18 June.
On 16 September 2023, Dennis Orellana will give a guest performance in a solo concert with the programme "Si suoni la Tromba" at the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival, where he debuted in 2022 in two operas in concert version.

From 1 December 2023 Dennis Orellana will sing the role of Darius in Reinhard Keiser's opera Nebucadnezzar at the Winter in Schwetzingen and then at the Telemann Festival Magdeburg.
In winter 2022/ 23 Dennis Orellana made a guest appearance as Ramiro (La Finta Giardiniera) at the Salzburg Landestheater. In June 2024 Dennis will sing Siface (Mitridate, re di Ponto) in Brussels, Namur and Moms.
