Nicholas Tamagna

24.10.2019

Our excellent countertenor, Nicholas Tamagna, has worked as cover for Oberon in a new production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Vienna State Opera and has sung in Heidelberg, Germany, the role of Misha in Handel’s Samson in October 2019.

Nicholas’ exciting season continues with singing the title roles of Rinaldo in Kempten and Olten plus the title role of Orlando Furioso in Athens. After that, he sings Ruggiero in Handel’s Alcina in Schaffhausen and again in Vivaldi’s Orlando Furioso in Moscow. In February 2020, Nicholas will celebrate his debut as Narciso in Agrippina at The Met, New York. Furthermore, he will perform as Refugee in The Flight at the Oldenburg Opera in April 2020 and as Polinesso at the London Handel Festival in May 2020.  Also, he will sing in a new production of Moving Seasons during the Handel Festival, Halle in June 2020.
