La Donna del Lago, directed by M. E. Cencic, in Wiesbaden
On May 24th, 2019, Max Emanuel Cencic's highly acclaimed, romantic and opulent staging of Rossini's La Donna del Lago will be shown as part of the Maifestspiele at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden.
For the first time, the part of Malcolm will be sung on a German stage by a man, Max Emanuel Cencic, under the baton of George Petrou.
In Wiesbaden, the part of Umberto / Giacomo will be sung by one of the best tenors of our time, Daniel Behle. As earlier in Zagreb, Elena will be interpreted by the young Nian Wang (instead of Lena Belkina, who is recovering from illness).
